Brie-lievable? A nail art tutorial on Instagram has emulated a slice of Swiss cheese

Clever: The artist uses different shades of yellow to create depth on the nails

In a video uploaded to Instagram, the cheesy nail art is showcased in its enti rety, including showing a mini-tutorial so you can copy the look.

The nail artist starts with long acrylic nails that have holes drilled into them to resemble Swiss cheese.

She then uses an angled brush to paint on yellow polish, ensuring that there are round gaps left without colour for the 'holes'.

Commitment: They even drilled holes in the acrylic nails to look like the cheese

Viral: The video has been viewed over 14,000 times

After two coats of the base yellow colour have dried, then other darker shades of yellow are added around the round holes.

Finally, little touches of white are added before a clear top coat is applied over all nail.

The end result defiantly resembles slices of cheese, complete with a jagged edge as if the cheese had been torn.

Bright: Many others are alos fans of cheesy nail art, with posts on Instagram showing off the look

It seems a little odd, but cheese-themed nail art is more popular than you might think, with numerous posts on Instagram of people showing off their yellow nails.

Some people have gone as far as to add holes to the ends of their nails like the original poster, whilst others have simply removed circles of nail polish to make it appear as if there are holes.

We almost didn't brie-lieve it until we saw it, but now we think it's kind of grate.
